Director of Development
We have partnered with a prominent solar and energy storage developer who has been a key player in the renewable energy market since 2014. They have emerged as the foremost developer, builder, owner, and operator of distributed energy storage and solar PV systems in the northeastern U.S., delivering reliable and cost-effective clean energy solutions for off-takers, utilities, and municipalities.
The Director of Development will be responsible for leading solar and energy storage projects from the RFP stage through successful full NTP and handover to the EPC group. This person will serve as a liaison for the local government, utilities, and other stakeholders as well as drive the company’s growth strategy.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years’ experience in a development role with a background in managing individuals targeting multiple markets/incentive programs.
- A working knowledge of project finance and project economics including being able to build project proformas and sensitivity analysis
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Salary range: $150-200k + Bonus
