Director/VP of Renewables – Utility PV and Energy Storage Inverters
We are working with a leading provider of power conversion technology used in solar, energy storage, electric mobility, and industrial applications. They have delivered 90 GW AC power to date, mitigating 90.6 million tons of CO2. Their US HQ will be ramping up production for domestic content requirements. To support their growth, we have been retained to find a Vice President of Renewables who will identify new opportunities and drive growth in the utility-scale market.
The VP of Sales, Renewables will drive sales and revenue growth across the Solar PV and Energy Storage business unit. You will work with some of the country’s largest utilities, IPPs, developers, and EPCs to close transactions, ensure project and delivery timelines are aligned, and drive market share.
There will be 50-60% travel, including taking customers on factory tours in Europe. This role is ideal for a road warrior who understands the importance of being in the market in front of customers regularly to build relationships and ensure projects are completed successfully.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 7+ years selling central inverters or ESS systems in the utility-scale market.
- Strong knowledge of Solar PV and Energy Storage markets and use cases.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
Salary Range: $175 – $210K + annual bonus.
