Full Stack Software Engineer – Solar Trackers

The Full Stack Software Engineer will develop software across cloud platforms, embedded IoT systems, web applications, and mobile applications. Working closely with electrical engineers, software engineers, and cross-functional teams, this individual will support the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .NET.
- Design and improve web dashboards, user interfaces, and application workflows.
- Develop cloud-connected web and mobile applications.
- Build, deploy, and maintain cloud applications within Microsoft Azure.
- Support production environments through software deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and data processing applications using C#, .NET, Python, Node.js, and Java.
- Maintain communication between cloud applications, databases, and IoT devices.
- Develop and deploy IoT Edge applications on embedded Linux platforms.
- Deploy and maintain Azure IoT Edge modules, containerized applications, and over-the-air software updates.
- Work within embedded Linux environments using Docker, container technologies, and Yocto.
- Implement communication protocols including LoRaWAN, BLE, Cellular, Ethernet, UART, and Modbus.
- Support device-to-cloud connectivity, sensor integration, software testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Coordinate development efforts with third-party software partners.
- Document software architecture, testing activities, development work, and deployment procedures.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Five or more years of software development experience.
- Experience developing and testing IoT systems.
- Experience building commercial cloud-connected applications.
- Strong frontend development experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .NET.
- Experience developing applications in Microsoft Azure or a similar cloud environment.
- Backend development experience using C#, .NET, Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Experience deploying applications on embedded Linux platforms.
- Experience with Docker, containerized deployments, and Azure IoT Edge or similar edge computing solutions.
- Experience working with wireless communication protocols such as LoRaWAN or BLE.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience coordinating with third-party software development teams.
Salary Range: $120K – $145K depending on experience
