Job Description
We are partnered with an international organization that develops, owns and operates energy and infrastructure projects all over the world. They have an enormous balance sheet and own a portfolio of organizations involved in C&I Solar, Energy Efficiency, Energy Storage, Community Solar along with traditional power generation assets.
They are currently developing utility scale PV projects in key markets including ERCOT. We’ve been asked to help identify a Project Developer who will be responsible for completing the development of a 150 MW solar project in Texas through financial closeout and handoff to the EPC. The role includes completing permitting efforts and negotiating major contracts such as solar module/BOP procurement, construction contract, and/or EPC contract.
The ideal candidate must have:
- 5+ years experience developing solar, wind or other relevant projects in ERCOT.
- Strong technical and financial acumen and ability to communicate clearly in an international organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record taking projects through development and execution.
- Ability to work on a contract basis with the potential to convert to a full time role in 12-18 months.
Salary range: $130K -$150K depending on experience
