Utility Account Manager – Solar Modules

Job Description

We are partnered with one of the world’s largest Tier One suppliers of solar modules used in residential, commercial and utility scale projects. As the renewable energy market continues to rapidly expand in the US, they are expecting growth of more than 300% next year. This growth creates unique challenges that the Utility Sales Manager will help solve.

The Utility Account Manager will work with existing customers, including IPPs, Developers, and EPCs to ensure module allocation is set for projects, and deepen the relationships and revenue share.  Primary responsibility will be farming within existing accounts, but this person will have some responsibility to bring in new customers as well.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • 5+ years of experience closing utility scale transactions in solar (Modules, Inverters, Racking, Trackers, etc).
  • Established relationships with customers in the region.
  • Experience in contract review, negotiation, and closing transactions. .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 

Salary Range: $130-$150K + Bonus
