Technical Sales Engineer – Thermal Energy Storage
We are partnered with a leading Thermal Energy Storage provider that helps commercial and industrial customers save energy while offering utilities a dispatchable peak-shaving solution.
The Technical Sales Engineer will support the sale of these energy-saving systems, with a focus on utility projects and programs. In collaboration with the Sales Manager, this role will involve addressing technical questions from customers regarding HVAC and Thermal Energy Storage system designs. The Technical Sales Engineer will also assist in developing technical and economic proposals for potential clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC products, system design, and experience in calculating energy savings from system upgrades. They must also be comfortable working directly with customers and closing large, complex deals.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent technical background.
- Knowledge of energy storage, utility power consumption, rooftop package systems, and mechanical design.
- Ability to calculate energy savings and create proposals
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Salary range: $100K – $125K + bonus
