Job Description

We are working with one of the leading and technologically advanced renewable energy companies in the country. With over 800 solar and solar+storage assets in operations throughout the country, they have been providing renewable energy and services to over 200 world-class customers making the leap to clean, affordable energy.

As they continue to grow, we have been asked to help identify a Project Engineer to join their renewable team. This individual will be responsible for leading Solar PV and Storage Engineering functions, as well as identifying and evaluating technical enhancement opportunities in collaboration with Asset Management, Technical Operations, and other teams in the organization. In this role, you will also provide technical due diligence, review of engineering drawings and designs, and other workstreams for commercial and utility-scale solar and energy storage projects throughout their lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Master’s preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in Solar engineering.
  • Excellent understanding of solar project technical characteristics.
  • Working knowledge of important renewable energy documents
    (agreements and permits).
  • Ability to travel is required.

Salary Range: $90-$140K depending on experience + incentives.
