Job Description

As we are scaling our team to support our renewable energy customers across Solar, Energy Storage and Electric Vehicles, we are adding a new function to our organization: Search Operations.

Search Operations will support our recruitment organization owning many of the internal processes that enable Peak Demand to continue decreasing our time to fill while increasing the quality and number of hires for the organizations we work with. Search Operations is responsible for executing our internal processes on new positions, creating our digital tool, documents and reports, enabling our recruiters to focus on recruiting talent for our clients.
An individual who loves Executive Search, but does not want to pound the phones recruiting would be a great fit for this role.  Someone from an Operations background in renewable energy would also be a great addition to our team.  We are looking for a team-oriented individual that loves to create and execute processes and enjoys working on multiple projects simultaneously.  

You will also need the ability to create and write compelling summaries of the organizations we work with and the roles we are helping them hire for.

You will become our internal expert on Operations and be a critical piece of every project we work on.  As we continue to grow, there is a high likelihood this person will be building a team around them.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search operations will be on the kickoff call for all new search projects, compiling notes and then creating the digital tools and documentation for the search.  
  • Search Operations will direct internal workflows and workloads for our recruiters and 3rd party partners.  
  • Search operations will track weekly progress on all searches keeping an eye on time to fill metrics, candidate submittals, and overall pipeline reporting in our CRM (Loxo) and other internal documents.
  • Create Invoices, Billings, Job Descriptions, Custom Search Overview Documents, Client Pipeline reports and weekly internal reporting.
  • Search Operations will also be involved in the hiring and training of new Recruiters.

Required experience:

  • Background in HR, Recruiting or Executive Search.
  • Experience creating Digital Documents that are polished, clean and look professional.
  • Strong Excel skills along with experience working with LinkedIn, Google Docs and recruiting CRMs (like Loxo).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with external customers at the executive level.
  • Understanding of renewable energy would be ideal.  Experience recruiting for Construction, Engineering, Sales or Finance roles is critical.
  • 4 year degree preferred.
  • Ability to work in our Roseville office 2-3 days a week would be preferred, but we may consider fully remote for the right person.
