We are working with a rapidly growing independent power producer developing large commercial, public sector, and community solar and solar+storge projects in key markets across the country. They are one of the fastest-growing solar developers in the country with an industry-leading team.
The Sales Director will lead a National Sales team that is originating and developing Solar and Solar+Storage projects in key markets across the country. Targeted customers include Corporate/Fortune 500, Public Sector (Schools, Municipalities, etc) as well general Commercial and Industrial End Users.
This person will also work territory and have the ability to originate and close their own projects as well. Having strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex financial concepts for PPAs and ROI is critical to success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5-7 years of Commerical Solar project origination and development experience.
- At least 2 years of Sales Leadership experience.
- Strong Analytical skills and understanding of Project Finance and PPAs.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet customers and mentor/lead the sales organization.
