Job Description
We are working with one of the leading providers of power conversion solutions for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects in North America. This industry-leading Central Inverter manufacturer has almost 20GW of the product installed globally and has been on the leading edge of technology innovation.
We have been asked to help identify a Sales Application Engineer who will oversee the development of precise and timely technical specifications and business proposals to support the sales function for solar power PV and BESS projects. This person will establish a network of customer and vendor relationships with commercial and technical experts in order to define integrated solutions and develop a pipeline of viable business within the PV inverter market.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years of Systems or Applications Engineering experience in Solar or Energy Storage
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience providing technical sales support for PV products or services to EPCs, Developers, Utilities and IPPs across the Western US.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to travel up to 30% as needed.
Salary Range: $88-125k
