Director of Sales – Virtual Power Plant (VVP) Solutions

Job Description

An industry-leading residential energy storage provider has been building out its VPP business for the last several years working with utilities, home builders and other stakeholders to find new value streams for residential energy storage.  With multiple VPP projects completed and more on the way, we have been asked to find a Director of Sales.

The Director of Sales will lead business development and sales efforts nationally managing the team is originating and developing Virtual Power Plant projects in Key Markets. Experience with energy storage and VPP solutions would be ideal, but other relevant experience managing teams in Community Solar, Utility Scale Energy Storage or other similar markets would also be relevant.  

Please apply if you have:

  • 10+ years of Sales and Sales leadership experience in solar, energy storage or related areas.
  • A strong understanding of how to develop innovative projects and solutions with utilities.
  • A desire to work with an amazing team driving innovation in residential energy storage.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% as needed.

Salary range: $150K – 180K + incentives depending on experience.
