C&I Sales Manager – Rapid Shutdown Devices

Job Description

We are partnered with a leading manufacturer of Module Level Power Electronics used in residential and commercial solar.  Their products include solar inverters and rapid shutdown devices used in residential and commercial applications across the US.  

Most solar markets now require rapid shutdown devices as part of NEC 2017. With a proven solution and experience selling to many major installers and inverter OEMs, this organization has a proven track record in this market and is now looking for a Sales Manager to focus on selling rapid shutdown devices to Commercial and Industrial Developers and EPCs across the country. 

The Sales Manager will drive the C&I Market leveraging their relationships with key partners while establishing new opportunities. This is a high-visibility role helping push the organization into a new market segment working with commercial and industrial solar installers, developers, and EPCs.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Proven experience selling PV products or services to C&I developers or EPCs.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience in Solar
  • Ability to work remotely and help develop sales strategies for new market penetration.
  • Working knowledge of the industry, including solar development, design, construction, and maintenance.
