Applications Engineering Leader – Utility Energy Storage
We are working with a start-up that has developed a game changing Battery Management System that dramatically improves system performance, project economics and safety for utility scale energy storage projects. They have an amazing executive team with a proven track record deploying renewable energy technologies and recently raised their Series B, funding the company for the foreseeable future as they ramp and scale the business.
The Applications Engineering Leader will establish an Applications Engineering Team to support the company’s battery management systems, high-voltage power converters, and grid-scale energy storage systems. The group will work closely with the product development and R&D teams as well as externally with third-party service providers and customers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10 years of experience with utility-scale BMS, PCS & ESS or closely related fields.
- Combination of technical understanding of the energy storage market along with the ability to develop strategic marketing and product roadmaps.
- MS/BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Systems Engineering, or any equivalent field.
Salary Range: $125-150k
